Joe Rogan Tells His Side of Story of the Infamous Fear Factor Fight

Joe Rogan is one of the most influential yet controversial personalities in the world of combat sports. The ‘free-thinking’ podcaster says what he thinks which ends up being controversial. It is also well known that along with podcasting and commentating, Rogan also worked as a host for Fear Factor. He led a similar life there too, as he was involved in one of the infamous fights during the show. In an episode of his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, the UFC commentator revealed his side of the story in the fight and how he got involved with the contestants.

Joe Rogan explains what happened during the physical altercation in Fear Factor:

The former fear factor host explained his side of the story on one of his podcasts. He said, “He [contestant] goes “Hey hey hey!”. Furthermore, he added, “and I go “Hey hey What?” And then he goes right in my face…”

“I push him and he goes “I dare you to touch me again”. I push him again and then I’m like, “What b*itc what?” Because I think now, we’re fighting. So it was never really a fight like I never really hit him and he never really hit me, but I was trying to get him to hit me,” Rogan revealed on his podcast.

Joe Rogan also explained what had happened before his altercation with the contestant. The UFC commentator explained, “There was a guy who was on that show, ‘The Amazing Race’, and him and his wife were contestants on the show. They were screaming and yelling at each other the whole time they were on the show. It was disgusting.”

Moreover, he said that they were doing a stunt and Johhny Fairplay was thrash-talking the couple. He said, “He was yelling at the guy. “She’s dead weight. You can do better. You deserve better.” Furthermore, the UFC commentator said that this plan of Fairplay worked.

Rogan also revealed what had happened after the stunt. He said, “They get eliminated… The wife walks up to Johnny and punches him as hard as she can in his stomach and he falls over. And I go hey he fell over… He really got hurt. I go “What are you doing? You can’t go around hitting people…”
