Plymouth will once again be hosting a bonfire and fireworks display on The Hoe for Bonfire Night tonight. Fairground rides and catering stands will be open from 4pm and entertainment, courtesy of Heart will be provided from 5.45pm.

Sinad O'Connor, the Irish singer known for her intense and beautiful voice, her political convictions and the personal tumult that overtook her later years, has died. She was 56 years old. O'Connor's recording of "Nothing Compares 2 U" was one of the biggest hits of the early 1990s. Her death was announced by her family.

From selling out stadiums to dropping several successful stand-up specials to publishing an autobiography, Jo Koy has already checked off several major milestones in his comedy career. He can now check off another: hosting the 2024 Golden Globe Awards. This will be Koys first appearance as a host for a major awards show.
