Cult Beauty, one of the UK's biggest beauty retailers, has just reduced its iconic advent calendar by £25, making it one of the hottest Black Friday beauty deals of the day. With only a week (!) to go 'til the start of December, it's safe to say that beauty advent calendars are very high our agenda. And if you can secure the goods when they're reduced in price, all the better.
Cult Beauty Advent Calendar 2023Following on from the success of the online beauty store's previous three sold out advent calendars, this year's launch is bigger and better than ever. Worth £1,084 but on sale for £200, it serves up a total of 39 (!) products. 20 of which are full size.
Behind each door, you'll find an epic selection of makeup, body care and skincare treats – all coming from the best beauty brands around, including Augustinus Bader The Cream, 111SKIN and Hailey Bieber-approved Hourglass. And if that wasn't enough, you'll find not one but seven products hidden inside the final 25th box, making a fabulous Christmas gift on the morning.
Similar to last year's launch, this year, Cult Beauty will once again treat three lucky winners to a Golden Ticket (in true Willy Wonka fashion) inside their advent calendar, which is worth £1,000 to spend on Cult Beauty (we'll have 10, please). This year's advent calendar also represents themes such as diversity, climate change and mental health, with its ethereal blue and purple exterior design representing a ‘safe space’, celebrating our uniqueness and otherness.
The best part? It's still in stock, and and judging by how quickly the last year's version flew off the e-shelves, it won't be for long. To give you a bit more detail (and a sneak peak inside), we've broken down all the details below. Read on.

The Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream is, absolutely, the star of the advent calendar show. Priced at more than the cost of the advent calendar alone – for a 50ml bottle – it's adored by everyone from Ashley Graham, Kate Bosworth, to Victoria Beckham.
The Bader formula is based on TFC8 (Trigger Factor Complex 8), a cocktail of more than 40 active ingredients, including vitamins and amino acids. It encourages regeneration and healing — Professor Bader discovered the formula while looking for solutions to help burn survivors heal quicker — and TFC8 is supposed to activate your stem cells, which go to work to repair fine lines, dark spots, and visible pores.
Elsewhere, we love the Medik8 Crystal Retinal Ceramide Eye 3. The world's first clinic strength retinol eye cream – and inspired by Medik8's multi-award-winning vitamin A serum for the face – the Crystal Retinal Ceramide Eye serves up targeted under eye rejuvenation.
Medik8’s #1 skincare ingredient, retinaldehyde, has been stabilised at a clinical strength and combined with ceramides and hyaluronic acid filling spheres. The result? An all-in-one solution for evening eye care which is clinically proven to reduce the appearance of crow’s feet, wrinkles, crepiness and puffiness while remaining gentle of the delicate eye area. Even a generous amount didn't irritate our skin.
This year, Cult Beauty is also honouring marginalised communities by collaborating with Mental Health UK, which means that a portion of proceeds from their advent calendar will be donated to support the mental health of people within the LGBTQIA+, black and ethnic minority communities, as well as those experiencing reproductive lifecycle challenges. Plus, Cult Beauty and THG have extended their commitment to plant one tree for every advent calendar sold for the second year running. Yet another reason to snap one up.
