Thudding hearts, sweat-drenched smiles, pride and exhilaration, it is Decathlon Coventry's Half Marathon.
A highlight in the spring race calendar, Decathlon Coventry’s Half Marathon takes runners on closed roads through Coventry city centre and beyond. Runners will start their half marathon challenge with a loop of the city centre, passing through the beautiful countryside beyond, and culminating in a great downhill stretch for the final stages of the run.
This fantastic closed road half marathon is taking place on Sunday 1st March and is expected to welcome thousands of runners to the streets of Coventry as well as armies of spectators who line the streets to cheer on friends, family and all the city’s runners!
The event is open to runners of all abilities; from first time runners raising money for charity, to those who are more experienced. Make Decathlon Coventry’s Half Marathon your goal for 2015!
The event is supported by Coventry City Council as part of its events strategy to attract events that combine and link sporting activity with engaging the public in sport and help the city attract high profile sporting events.
