Ah, makeup brush cleaners. Cleaning your makeup brushes is one of those chores that we all know we should be doing on the reg, except… you don’t. How do we know that? Because we are exactly the same.

We know you probably don’t want to hear it, but in Jesse’s professional opinion, your own personal collection of brushes should be deep cleaned every week. “Ideally, you’ll be using a makeup brush cleanser with warm water,” she says. “If necessary, you can spot clean brushes between the weekly deep cleanses using 70% isopropyl alcohol, or with a spray-on, quick dry cleanser.”
